Q. WHAT IS EL PASO HORROR FEST?
El Paso HorrorFest is a community-based horror genre focused experience for all that reflects today’s fandom. At El Paso HorrorFest you’ll get to meet your favorite horror icons from movies and TV, attend Q&A panels hosted by the featured guests, and shop from the amazing vendors. You can also get autographs and photo ops with your favorite creators and celebrities!
El Paso Horrorfest hosts a large exhibit hall where you’ll find everything from major companies offering their latest products to local artists and craftsmen selling their unique wares. For more details, see our Exhibit Hall Booth Map and Programming Schedule.
Q. WHEN AND WHERE DOES THE EVENT TAKE PLACE?
The 2023 El Paso Horrorfest dates are October 7-8. It will occur at the El Paso Convention Center in downtown El Paso, Texas.

Q. HOW MAY I GET A FEATURED GUEST’S AUTOGRAPH?
Featured Guest’s autographs are offered at the sole discretion of each Featured Guests. Please note Featured Guests often charge a fee for autographs or offer photos and other memorabilia for sale that they’ll autograph at no additional charge. Their pricing is usually posted at their tables. We’ll do our best to publish these prices on the Event website as that information becomes available to us. We ask all attendees to please be respectful and courteous to the Event’s creator and celebrity guests as they are taking time out of their busy schedules to meet their fans.
Q. HOW MAY I GET A PHOTO OP WITH A CELEBRITY GUEST?
Photo ops pricing and availability varies from guest to guest. We will post information on how to purchase photo ops at the Event as more information becomes available.
Q. DO I HAVE TO WAIT IN LINE TO MEET GUESTS?
The length of a guest’s line varies according to the popularity of that guest. Expect to not have more than 2 minutes with a guest. Please understand with some guests you may only have 15-30 seconds. It is a balancing act between managing a guest’s time with trying to have that guest meet as many fans as possible. When necessary, the Event will cap lines.
Q. WHAT IS A Q&A PANEL AND HOW AND WHERE DO I ATTEND ONE?
Q&A panels are sessions that showcase a specific topic or convention guest. These panels provide a great opportunity to ask questions, learn things about the industry, or get inside scoops on the upcoming projects of creators or celebrity guests. Q&A panels are free to all paid attendees of the Event.
Q. DO CHILDREN GET FREE ENTRY INTO THE EVENT?
Children 2 years old and younger are free with a paid adult (18+) and must be accompanied by an adult (18+) at all times at the event. Limit two free children passes per paid adult.
Q. MAY I COME TO THE EVENT IN COSTUME?
Absolutely! In fact we encourage fans to dress in their favorite costumes at the Event! Please refer to the Convention Policies & Codes of Conduct page for all information regarding cosplay and prop weapons.
Q. WHAT FEATURED GUESTS WILL I SEE IN ATTENDANCE AT THE EVENT?
For a list of confirmed guest appearances, refer our online Guest List. From time to time, guests may need to cancel their appearances at the Event. We will do our best to update the Event website with cancellation notices. Please note that no ticket refunds will be made in the event that a comic industry or celebrity guest cancels his or her appearance.
Q. MAY I TAKE PHOTOS OR RECORD VIDEO AT THE EVENT?
Photography and video recording is permitted in most areas of the Event. Please remember to be respectful of other attendees, guests, exhibitors, volunteers, and facility staff. Some exhibitors and guests may request verbal or signed agreement for photography or video recording of their booths or during their Q&A panels. When taking pictures of others always ask first!
Absolutely NO photography or video is allowed in Celebrity Row without prior written consent from Event staff. Anyone found violating this rule will be removed from the venue.
