Dear Featured Guest,

We are so excited that you will be joining us at El Paso Horrorfest 2025!  This year’s show promises to bring the best Horror themed entertainment to El Paso for a truly epic weekend. We want to make sure that you have a great experience at the show, so please use this letter for the essential details that you need to know as a featured guest at El Paso Horrorfest.

The car service that will pick you up at the airport and bring you to the hotel is City Lights Limousine.  Their website is http://cityliteslimo.com/.  Their phone number is (915) 590-5944.  The driver will be waiting near the baggage claim area with a sign bearing your name.

You will be staying at the historic Hotel Paso Del Norte, a Marriott Bonvoy Autograph Collection Hotel. This is a 4.5-star hotel located in downtown El Paso directly across the street from the El Paso Horrorfest venue. The hotel has welcomed the biggest names in history including U.S. Presidents, countless celebrities, and distinguished guests from around the world.

Hotel Paso del Norte has implemented the Plasma Air Bipolar Ionization System into the building. The system purifies the air within the hotel, neutralizing all indoor air contaminants. Hotel Paso del Norte is one of the first hotels in the country and the first in El Paso to invest in this groundbreaking system.

Hotel Paso Del Norte offers 24/7 fitness center, cigar lounge with cocktail service, and a rooftop pool.  There are 3 restaurants located within the hotel – Sabor is a Mexican Cantina, 1700 is the fine dining steakhouse, and El Mirador is the 10th floor bar and restaurant. Walking distance from the hotel are some high-end dining options such as Café Central, Anson 11, and Park Tavern. You will also find one of the best burgers in town at Rock Star Burger and great international food at Delight or Pot Au Pho.
If you don’t want to walk you can ride on the historic El Paso Streetcar.

The hotel is walking distance from the convention center (directly across the street), but if you require a ride from the hotel let us know.  Keep in mind with traffic during the event it will likely take longer to ride than to walk.

The costume contest will be on Saturday evening after the Exhibit Hall closes.  El Paso cosplayers are very passionate about their craft and create some amazing cosplays.  If you’d like to attend the costume contest let us know and we will ensure you get front row tickets.

The featured guests will be in Celebrity Row.  The photo op area is located very close to Celebrity Row so you can avoid having to navigate through the crowd to get to your photo op.  Celeb Photos is our contracted photo op company.

The Green Room is in the Westar Bank Room. This room is the only room on the second floor.  It has a balcony that overlooks the con floor if you want a view from up above.  There are private restrooms there too, so you don’t have to worry about awkward moments in a rest room crowded with fans.  The admin room is located next to the Green Room.  All financial matters or anything of a sensitive nature will be handled there. Only featured guests, their agents, and event staff are allowed in the Green Room. Food, drink, and snacks will be provided in the Green Room.

City Lights Limousine will also be the service that returns you to the airport at the conclusion of the event.  We recommend one and a half hours prior to your departure for pick up.  We can arrange for pick up from the convention center for those leaving Sunday night and from the hotel for those leaving on Monday.  The El Paso Airport is not a large or busy airport.  Getting through security usually is rather quick.

Here’s some general information about the area.

El Paso is located at the intersection of three states (Texas, New Mexico, and Chihuahua) and two countries (the U.S. and Mexico).  The sun shines 302 days per year on average in El Paso.  For this reason, the city is nicknamed “The Sun City”.  There is a strong military presence in the area with 3 major military installations within an hour’s drive (Fort Bliss, Holloman AFB, and White Sands Missile Range).

A fiberglass sculpture by Luis Jiménez honoring the city’s colorful past, when real alligators graced San Jacinto Plaza sits in the center of downtown. This historic park is in the heart of downtown El Paso on the corner of Oregon and Mills St. Recently redesigned, the park is now home to paths and bridges, gaming areas for ping-pong, chess, and washoes and a café that features a variety of local snack time favorites. This urban open space celebrates the history and culture of El Paso and is ideal for gatherings small or large.

Southwest University Park is home to both the El Paso Chihuahuas of the Triple-A Pacific Coast League (https://www.milb.com/el-paso) and the El Paso Locomotive FC of the USL Championship League (https://www.eplocomotivefc.com/).  Southwest University Park is located next to the El Paso Convention Center. Neither the Chihuahuas nor Locomotives are scheduled to play on our weekend, but the pro club should be open if you’d like to buy some of their gear. Chihuahuas gear is very popular.

Often regarded as the birthplace of Margarita, the world-famous Kentucky Bar & Grill is where celebrities like Liz Taylor and Marilyn Monroe hung out. Opened back in 1912, the Kentucky Club wears its 96 years like a piece of cherished antique furniture. Experience the charm of yesteryear at this historic club featuring the best of margaritas and scrumptious delights and decorated with baseball and bullfight pictures from the past. The Kentucky Club is a short trip (less than 2 miles) over the Mexican border. Bring your passport if you plan to visit Mexico.

If you want to do a bit of gambling while here, Sunland Park is a quick 10-minute drive away.  Enjoy over 700 state-of-the-art slot machines, year-round simulcast wagering from tracks all over the world, incredible restaurants, and live entertainment.
